Event Diary

We run a varied programme of events throughout the year. These range from quarterly lunches with high profile speakers, Informative Breakfast Seminars, Golf Days, Christmas Parties, Race Days plus our ever popular monthly free Business Exchange Evenings. 

Our events offer you the opportunity to meet new potential clients and suppliers and renew your aquaintance with old friends. They are all about making new connections, building relationships and keeping up to date wth the latest business techniques.

The atmosphere at all our events is relaxed and friendly new members need to have no fear about coming along on their own, they will be made to feel very welcome by both the  Chamber Staff and the members. We always send out an attendance list prior to the event and if there is someone you would like to be introduced to we will be happy to help. Just let the Chamber team know prior to the event if possible.

If you are a potential member of the Chamber you are very welcome to join us for one of our free Business Exchange Evenings before making any decisions about joining.This is an excellent opportunity to talk to other members and answer any questions or concerns.

Ideally located in the centre of Tunbridge Wells this beautifully restored Hotel offers outstanding facilities. Cyber Crime is a growing problem, with a large number of firms being continually targeted. It is essential that you do all you can to protect your business. It is essential that you do all you can to protect your business against this ever increasing threat. We have joined forces with local NFU Mutual agents (Webber Bowring and Joubert) to offer members and their guests the opportunity to get up to date information from South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) Cyber Protection Officer, Detective Sargeant Christopher Greatorex. Chris fights Cyber Crime on the front line and will talk about the current cyber threat landscape and give advice on how businesses can mitigate themselves against a cyber attack. Shaun Joubert, Partner at local NFU Mutual Agents (Webber, Bowring and Joubert) will speak about protecting your business against a financial loss, which may result from the loss or theft of personal or corporate data, through Cyber Liability insurance. The event price includes a Full English Breakfast.

We are delighted to welcome the new Police and Crime Commissionr for Kent , Mr Matthew Scott, as our guest speaker at this year's Autumn Lunch. Mr Scott was elected as Kent's Police and Crime Commissioner in May 2016. Prior to that, he worked as a Parliamentary Manager in Westminster, and has extensive experience of working with Government departments, local authorities, the police, charities and other organisations. He has often assisted with advocacy in casework and complaints processes. PCC's are elected by the public to hold Chief Constables and the force to account, effectively making the police answerable to the communities they serve. Join us for what promises to be an extremely interesting event, find out Mr Scott's views on policing in Kent and take the opportunity to put your questions or concerns to him.

Many of you are aware that, due to his appointmnet as Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on 14th July, The Rt Hon Greg Clark MP was unable to attend our Summer Lunch as guest speaker. Greg was very keen to join us at another event as soon as possible and we are delighted that he will be joining us for this Business Breakfast. He is eager to hear from local businesses and 'pick their brains' on the Government's relationship with Business.
